Learn-to-Row Day
June 6, 2026, 9:30am-noon
The Corvallis Rowing Club (CRC) invites you to participate in a 2.5-hour introduction to the sport of rowing. This event is taught by experienced master rowers with assistance from CRC member volunteers. You will be introduced to the techniques and language of rowing using special rowing machines and a practice tank with oars. You will then have the opportunity to row in an 8-person crew boat partnered with experienced CRC rowers and accompanied by a coaching launch. In this short time frame we offer a very condensed experience that is an excellent way to “sample” this unique sport.
